 Manitou was originally established in 1985 and has been putting out Pontoon boats ever since.

In 2018 BRP also known as Bombardier Recreational Products purchased the Manitou Brand and has been making innovative, distinctive, and contemporary design plans that make a sleek, versatile boat fit for any family or friend gathering on the water!


What makes a Manitou Pontoon Boat unique?

Both stunning and durable, Manitou pontoon seats are dressed in SIMTEX vinyl that is designed to stay cool in the hot sun and resist mold and mildew, making it easy to clean and made to last.

All Manitou boats are now standard equipped with Garmin digital displays, stereo systems, and a redesigned dash with digital switching to access all the information you need in 1 place.


The New Rotax S with Stealth Technology engine is available on the Manitou CRUISE and EXPLORE models. The Stealth Technology feature lowers the engine below the stern, creating the unmatched MAX Deck. The MAX Deck unlocks up to 6 ft of additional length for recreational activities and storage space for larger items such as water toys, coolers, and more. This engine runs smooth and super quiet at any speed. You may choose between having a single engine running at 150HP or dual engine option for reaching up to 300HP. On our LX and XT models you can choose to go with a single traditional outboard engine up to 400HP or run dual engines reaching up to 900HP.

  • Rotax S is the cleanest combustion outboard engine in its class with a 12% average reduction in reportable emissions, and a 98% reduction in Carbon Monoxide at idle compared to leading outboard engine brands.

  • Direct Injection Technology delivers power throughout the operating curve means class leading performance when towing and at full capacity.
  • The oil fill, battery and connections are now integrated into the boat with an easy access rigging center.


If you do not choose the Rotax S engine advantage, you will still receive a high performing traditional outboard motor from Mercury Marine or Suzuki Marine.
